Access

The cave is gated and fitted with the standard CSCC lock. Keys are held by CSCC member clubs. Keys are usually available for loan from one of the Mendip clubs with huts. These are BEC, CSS, MCG, MNRC, SMCC, and WCC. It is advisable to make arrangements in advance.

In case of difficulty contact the CSCC Conservation and Access Officer.

Please report missing or damaged locks.

The entrance is in an active stream bed and the gate consists of a grill which may become blocked. Please clear the grills when visiting.

The entrance is on private land over which there is no public right of way. Enter the wood from Thrupe Lane and keep to the obvious path.

Access is available through an agreement between the landowner and the Cerberus Speleological Society. Please follow the agreed route for access and do not wander around the woodland.
