Access to this cave is covered by the Harridge Woods area agreement (see here Harridge Woods Area ).
It is gated and requires a CSCC key. All visitors require an Online Permit and an Online Trip Report should be completed after each visit.
To access the cave, from the parking spot opposite the chapel ( see Google Map), go through the gate and follow the metalled path east into the reserve. Take the first footpath on the right, some 75m from the start of the walk. Follow this up hill and round an obvious left hand bend. Continue along this path until starts to head down hill. When the path swings left, ignore this and go straight on to the footbridge over the stream. Cross the footbridge, go up the slope the other side and turn left at the mill leat. Head towards the derelict Keeper's Cottage. Go past the cottage and take the up hill track on the right just before the large gate. About 20 to 30m along this track, with a large beech tree on your left, turn right into the woods. Head directly back towards the cottage, looking of an area of level ground. The gated entrance is at the base on a small cliff face on your left, some 15m from the path.
