Access

Following damage to the gate the mine is currently closed pending the necessary remedial works. Please do not visit and try and open the gate as it has been made secure as a safety measure. CSCC Conservation & Access Officer. January 2021.

This site is gated and locked. Keys are held by the major Mendip Clubs. These are the ACG, BEC, CSS, MCG, MNRC, SMCC and WCC. Arrangements should be made with one of these clubs to borrow the key.
