Park opposite the Albion Stone Quarries gate in Grove Road, walk to the quarries along the tracks signed "Public Footpath" behind the houses. Care is needed due to fly tipped jagged metal and broken glass in the quarries and cave entrances.
WARNING: Cavers and Climbers on Portland, particularly at Westland, have had their ropes cut by vandals. If you cannot leave a sentry use a rigging technique that will not fail irretrievably under tampering.
