Access

The cave is locked. A Leader system is operated. Keys are held at the WCC at Upper Pitts, Eastwater Lane, Priddy, Wells, Somerset and the BEC, The Belfry, Wells Road, Priddy, Wells, Somerset. Bad air is a continuing problem in the lower parts of the cave.

A new gate has been fitted and the entrance ladder removed.

A 10m ladder and lifeline is now required.
