Access

The cave is gated and both entrances (Nettle Pot and Foot & Crutch Series) are fitted with the standard CSCC lock. Keys are held by CSCC member clubs. Keys are usually available for loan from one of the Mendip clubs with huts. These are BEC, CSS, MCG, MNRC, SMCC, and WCC. It is advisable to make arrangements in advance.

In case of difficulty contact the CSCC Conservation and Access Officer.

Park in the layby on the main road and walk down the private lane to the bottom of the valley and through the field to the cave. Care must be taken not to trample any crops.
